The vintage-themed version of overwhelmingly popular SV650 roadster, the SV650X Café Racer by Suzuki Motor Corporation, is finally priced. Debuted at the 2017 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy, the SV650X version was being the only hard-hitting machine announced by the corporation for the coming model year. The café racer shares the same lightweight frame with the standard roadster, along with anti-lock ABS brakes, V-twin liquid-cooled engine, and suspension including a host of styling changes mainly. To extend the riding range, the tank capacity has been also increased to 14.5L, cool.

What are the latest developments? In terms of engineering, the only upgrade is the preload adjusters for the – previously non-adjustable – front fork. Like its SV650 family members, this bile delivers exhilaration and kicking’ level of performance, powered by a smooth-revving V-twin engine that produces an output of 56kW at 8500rpm and 64Nm of torque at 8100rpm. The main theme plays with modern retro making the SV650X unmistakably recognizable in iconic silver and black, with a red pinstripe for an ultimate look. Pricing starts at £5,999.
